Michal Meron has taken motives connected to the rich Jewish History of the Ghetto and translated them - using her language - into works of art that include reproductions of Jewish Venetian publications from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries. Old etchings of the ships that brought the Spanish communities from Spain during the Spanish reign of Isabella; the contract signed between the Jewish community and the Republic of Venice; parts from an old Haggadah published in Venice during the 17th century, amulets and maps of the Ghetto, they all appear in Michal's works and make these limited edition gicklees a special remembrance from the Serenissima.
